The Pembrokeshire Freewheelers
(Swansea DA, the Cyclists' Touring Club)
Welcome to the homepage of the Pembrokeshire Freewheelers. We are a cycling club in the South-Western corner of Wales, taking day-trips around the county every second Sunday. Rides start from a variety of locations, and with a different leader for each ride, so as to provide for great variety in the routes we travel. You are welcome to join uson our rides to see if you would enjoy doing the same.
We offer 3 free rides with us before deciding whether to join our club and also the Cyclists Touring Club, to whom we are affiliated.
During these trial rides you are covered by CTC insurance, once you have filled in a simple entry form. This is one of many benefits of joining the CTC, the national body looking after cyclists' interests.
Note: riders under 16 years old must have a responsible adult with them; riders aged between 16 and 18 need to have an adult consent form signed.
Most of our cycling is on country roads, but these days it is becoming unusual for a ride not to include a little bit of "rough-stuff." The few busy main roads in Pembrokeshire are generally easy to avoid, and on the quiet back roads we can travel for miles without meeting a car.

Membership fee to join the Freewheelers is £5 per year, with further members at the same address @ £2.50.
CTC membership is currently: junior £11, adult £30.50, family £49.25.
